Prof. LIN Jianping from Nankai University visited TIB and gave a wonderful lecture entitled “Simulation and design of complex biological macromolecule” at the invitation of Prof. JIANG Huifeng on June 12.  

In the lecture, Prof. LIN Jianping introduced the inter-protein electron transfer, the change and regulation of DNA nanotubes shape, the conformation influence of neuraminidase 150 active site which is caused by the base of sugar, design and simulation of CatA, the transformation of active pocket of β-Ketone sulfide solution enzyme (Bktb), and so on. Through the deep analysis of the content, Prof. Lin showed us the design concept of molecular modeling of complex biological macromolecular systems and its importance.

After the lecture, Prof. Lin also discussed related issues onthe specific research with the participants.
