Research Interest

According to the status of Industrial enzyme preparations and market demand in our country, we mainly focus on the discovery of new genes of industrial enzymes. We exhume and study the new genes with specific functions based on metagenomic sequencing technology which avoid the process of isolating and culturing of microorganisms, expand the use space of microbial resources. We will use bioinformatics to analyze the data from metagenomic sequencing and other database, and try to looking for the gene sequence characteristics of some particular family of enzymes. Combing the methods of genomic information and experimental validation to study new genes of enzyme and metabolic pathways, providing the information for new genes design and reform.
