Research Interest

Research interest focus on the conversion of functional rare sugar using novel enzymes. The main research directions include:

(1) Screening and identification of novel microbial and enzymes for rare sugars conversion

(2) Structure analysis and directed evolution of enzymes

(3) Construction and optimization of engineering strains for producing enzymes or rare sugars

(4) Exploration the conversion processes of rare sugars

(5) Biotransformation of deoxy rare sugars
