Research Interest

His main research interests are the biosynthesis of vitamin B12, the use of metabolic engineering to engineer bacteria to achieve high chemical yields, and the development of synthetic biology-enabling tools such as CRISPR-dependent gene editing. He was selected as a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020 and has successively presided over projects such as the National Natural Science Youth Foundation of China and the National Key R&D Program, and has published more than 20 articles in Nature Communications, Microbial Cell Factories, and other journals in recent years, and obtained 3 authorized patents.
