Currently, my primary focus lies in the fields of metabolic engineering and molecular pharmacognosy, as well as other innovative interdisciplinary research areas. These include the advancement and utilization of functional gene identification platforms, the development of efficient bionic synthetic cells, subcellular compartment engineering, the establishment of precise fermentation systems, and the amplification of production capacity. Notably, I have successfully generated a range of bionic synthetic cells utilizing Saccharomyces cerevisiae as the chassis microorganism, resulting in the creation of high-value natural products. One noteworthy achievement is the development of KH617, a Class I anticancer novel product line, which has demonstrated significant technological advancements.
