Application and characteristics:

Nano DSC technology is specifically designed for measuring the thermal stability and heat capacity of proteins and other macromolecules in dilute solutions. It features a dual capillary design, which delays protein aggregation and precipitation until the unfolding process is complete, thus allowing the detection of pure structural changes during heating.This equipment is widely applied in the following areas:

  • Analyzing protein stability in dilute solutions, including data on molar heat capacity (ΔCp), phase transition temperature (Tm), and enthalpy changes;
  • Studying protein-ligand interactions, especially effective in characterizing tight or slow-binding interactions;
  • Characterizing advanced structures and homogeneity of biomacromolecules.
