Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIBCAS) adheres to the development philosophy of “Openness, Collaboration, and Internationalization”. Seizing the chance to establish the National Center of Technology Innovation for Synthetic Biology (NC Synbio), it has built 4 joint centers with leading institutions from Belgium, Germany, Macao, and COMSATS, to create an international cooperation network characterized by "Advantage complementation and coordinated development". In this new era, TIBCAS will continuously broaden cooperation channels, actively deepen and expand partnerships with top international research institutions, and strive to build an innovative hub for international collaboration in synthetic biology and biomanufacturing, contributing to the high-quality development of the green bioeconomy and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals with new and greater achievements.
