The team has undertaken various research projects, including one Excellent Young Scientists Fund project, two General Program projects, and three Youth Program projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; one National Key R&D Program project and two sub-projects; a Strategic Priority Research Program project from the Chinese Academy of Sciences; a disruptive innovation project from the Haihe Laboratory for Synthetic Biology; and a project under Tianjin’s Synthetic Biotechnology Innovation Capacity Enhancement Initiative.
