Prof. SONG Hui from Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB), CAS was invited to participate in the “2nd International Conference on Past and Present Research Systems of Green Chemistry” held on September 14-16, 2015 in Orlando, USA, and gave a lecture entitled “Industrial Enzymes Used to Build Green Technology for Pre-treatment of Textile Dyeing” under the Track 9: Industrial Applications of Green Chemistry. 

This conference was organized by OMICS International, which hosts over 700 leading-edge peer-reviewed Open Access Journals and organizes over 1000+ International Conferences annually all over the world. Green Chemistry 2015 include several tracks such as Basic Principles and New Trends in Green Chemistry, Green Chemistry Applications, Green Catalysts and so on.  

In the report, Prof. SONG Hui presented their recent results on industrial enzymes used to build green technology for pre-treatment of textile dyeing. Compared to traditional process, enzymatic process saves 60% in production costs and 35% in energy water consumption and improve stretch strength of textile. She also presented the results on new gene clone, function study and molecular modification of Amylases, Pectinase, Cellulase, lipase, Catalase, etc. The report was appreciated with great interest from the participants which enhance the international popularity not only for Prof. SONG Hui but for the Institute，also lay the foundation for substantial international cooperation.
